Robert recently finished his first book. He told the story of his life overlaid with aspects of one of the most influential people in his life, his grandfather. Both men came of age during times of war-World War I and the Vietnam War. Although the differences were many in these two historical timeframes, the similarities were many as well, and looking back, Robert realizes that life’s lessons are timeless.
Transitioning from a lost young boy into a focused and loving man is a complex, sometimes difficult journey for many men. Robert tells his story in a way that we feel as if we are there, and as we travel this journey with him, we reflect on our own experiences, influences, and above all, the people and places who shaped us into who we are today.
